"When Battle Rage ends, you lose all adrenaline."
If you keep renewing it before it expires do you still lose all adrenaline?

This skill work a lot better with an axe than with a sword(or a hammer). If you want to do adrenaline based damage with a sword you pretty much need Final Thrust, and having two skills that lose all of your adrenaline is tough to pull off. Because you lose all your adrenaline when Battle Rage ends, you have to restart it before it ends. You will still lose all of your adrenaline, but now you can still gain double to get it all back, instead of having to attack 4 times to get it back up naturally.
The key point is that instead of getting Eviscerate every 7 hits, you can charge both Penetrating and Executioners up in half the time. Combine this with Dismember so you still get the nice deep wound effect, and you start really dealing out damage. Plus, with battle rage, when you use an adrenal attack, you get a net gain of 1 hit on your other adrenal attacks instead of just breaking even. You lose the huge spike from Evis, but your overall dps goes up.
Also, because it also give you the constant speed increase (assuming you can hit, and if you can't hit, speed increases might not be your biggest problem) you don't need to bring anything else to catch up with your target. With Eviscerate you don't need to bring anything else to cause deep wound, and with battle rage, you don't need anything else to increase speed. So, if you want both deep wound and speed increase on your bar, you don't gain any extra skills by bringing either one over the other.
Now, your build mught need a huge spike, in which case Eviscerate is the way to go. But if you need the DPS (and executioners strike isn't that much less damage than evis, you just don't get the deep wound at the same time, which makes evis much harder to heal) Battle Rage is better than Evis.
When I get some more time I'll write up a chart showing the different average dps's, and either prove myself right or wrong.

I use Battle Rage for PvE only. Combined with the collector Crimson Carapace Shield (+45 health -2 dmg in stance), you can keep Battle Rage running, giving you a constant dmg reduction and hp bonus. Great for those groups where the monk is busy starting at the sky while you get your butt kicked.

I would take Battle Rage over Eviscerate any day. Why? because if I have Battle Rage and Executioners Strike, I basically have Battle Rage and Cleave. All Cleave is is Executioners Strike for half the adrenaline, but your gaining double with Rage so now they are no different. As for the Deep Wound effect of Eviscerate, I find that I dont need it when I have Battle Rage, Exc. Strike, Penetrating Blow and Pwr Atk. And it's a skill you can basically constantly use, so your always moving 25%, which means people aren't getting away from you.

probly one of the best elite warrior skills out there cuz of 1.doubles adrenaline 2.move 25% faster(like sprint) 3.only 4 adrenaline cost 4.most good sword/axe/hammer skills use high adrenaline and this makes the skills fast to use(eg.exec. strike and galrath slash). this way u can spam those high adrenaline skills and own btw i got it outta rankor at some troll boss near a cave. not hard to get if u get a capping group thats mostly lvl 20s.i got it on first try but idk if hes always there.

As an arena skill, it's not that bad. You can grab maintained enchantments, or expensive spells that can only be cast rarely, and use Battle Rage on the side, and you're no worse for the wear.
Otherwise, it's not very good at all.
You get a run buff, which is useless when the target's not moving, and a double adrenaline buff, which provides no additional base damage. If the target is running and you haven't built up the adrenaline required yet, you face the same problem as warriors who bring Rush, and it DOES happen at times.
Frenzy, the warrior stance of choice (with Sprint when the target is running, though many teams run Crippling Shot rangers to pin targets anyway), yields 50% more attacks in the same time period, which means a 50% damage increase on the base, and 50% more adrenaline.
Battle Rage's most annoying little quirk is the 'ends when you use a non-attack skill', making your periodic refreshes of it wipe the adrenaline out. When that broke a while back, and it stopped ending when you used non-attack skills, it was actually a pretty good skill. A bit crazy to be able to charge "Fear Me!" every 2 hits, but in the end, it's really just 3/4ths a second faster than what you could do with Frenzy or Flurry.

There are wands for that you know. 4A is not too hard to get. Mostly you won't need more than 2 "hits", unless you run hammer bash where Rush wouldn't be my recommendation (rather Dev -> Crush -> Fierce).
